Due to Covid-19, the BiggerThanThat! Youth Empowerment program is pleased to be able to offer our presentations in a virtual format! Previously, we would rely heavily on delivering our message through live touring, however, we did not want the message to stop especially when it is now needed more than ever.
We are experiencing a higher than normal amount of requests and are working to fit in as many presentations as we can! Please contact our Event Coordinator for more information about our new virtual presentations.
Our 45 minute presentations are available for grades ranging from K through 12, as well a Online and Homeschooled students, with elementary, middle & high school program variations.
In between our musical songs which interchange the key messages below, Ryan Laird leads the students with on the spot group activities to keep them fully engaged and provide real life examples of the concepts they are learning about.
Our motivational presentation focuses on these key messages:
Our Topics include:
* Open Communication
* Motivation, Empowerment & Resiliency
* Inclusion
* Safe Social Media Presence
* Conflict Resolution
Ryan Laird has presented to over 300,000 students, parents and community members across Canada. This event is geared towards adults and students.
We offer opportunities to partner with communities to present motivational presentations, while also fundraising for their own cause or organization. These are evening events only.
Our keynote motivational speaker is also available upon request at your conference or event at any time.
Our program engages and captivates students with a very positive approach. We believe in focusing on the positives, rather than the negatives.
Students and parents connect with Ryan Laird due to his ability to share his own experiences through his excellent storytelling and lyrics.
We make the start to finish of any event an easy process by providing all the necessary preparation materials, technical and administrative support.
Upon booking, we provide support materials for every event which include grade specific lesson plans, music, and lyrics.
We encourage schools to create their own atmosphere using the "Bigger Than That" theme leading up to, or surrounding an event.
During the program, our musician and presenter, Ryan Laird, will perform the Top 10 Canadian Country charting song, “I’m Your Man”, as well as themed songs, "Make It Work", “Hey Ashley”, “I’m In The Band”, "More Than You Think You Are", "Social Media Mania", and “Bigger Than That”, all specifically written for the message and purpose of the BiggerThanThat! Program.
During musical breaks in the program, students and/or community members are given the safe platform to share their own goals with the help of Ryan Laird's energy igniting group activities.
Students leave presentations feeling empowered and ready to make their own story a success, just like Ryan did.
We are constantly seeking out sponsor support that enables us to offer the program at a much lower rate for schools. The cost is dependant on a number of factors, including whether or not we are currently touring through your area, and current sponsorship. We try to reduce fees wherever possible to make the program available to all!
To find out the cost for a motivational presentation, please contact the BiggerThanThat! program staff using the contact form below or by phone: 519.635.6118
All of our songwriting workshops are delivered via the Zoom platform, with up to 100 spots available per workshop. Please make sure to pre-register your student to ensure availability. Once you've submitted your request for your date of choice, one of our staff members will contact you with your registration package and materials for your student or child.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who wants to communicate a message, feelings or some beautiful words but just doesn't know how. Ryan Laird will teach the basics and how to put together a song from start to finish so that each child will leave the workshop with the steps and ability to write their very own song!
